Copper cylindrical object at Moustiers-Sainte-Marie

Summary

On 28 August 1994, four people having a picnic at Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) saw a copper-coloured cylindrical object apparently fitted with windows. It appeared roughly 10–15 metres above the ground, hovered briefly, then sped away and vanished. No photographs were taken. The testimony was only submitted in 2009, making any field investigation impossible. All four witnesses agree on the description. GEIPAN classified the case C, unresolved due to its age.
