Silent White Lights over Périgueux

Around 6:30 a.m. on September 12, 1995, several independent witnesses in Périgueux observed a group of white lights moving silently across the sky. At times, the lights appeared to follow the observers' vehicles. The phenomenon lasted about ten minutes. The witnesses themselves described the lights as similar to advertising laser projectors, and it was suggested that a rehearsal might have been underway in the area at that hour, though this hypothesis was never confirmed.
