Cylindrical Object with Orange Light in Étables-sur-Mer

At 2:45 a.m. on October 1, 1995, a driver in Étables-sur-Mer spotted an aluminum-colored cylindrical object emitting a strong orange light. He estimated its diameter at roughly one meter. The sighting lasted about 60 seconds and was completely silent. The object vanished without a trace.
