Object with red dome hovering near the ground in Flavin

Summary

In September 1996, a mother and daughter spotted an unusual object near Flavin in Aveyron, hovering about 4 meters above the ground. It was egg-shaped with a cylinder, a bright red dome, and a rotating green light. The object remained motionless and completely silent before moving away northward. The witnesses drew the phenomenon and were interviewed by the gendarmerie. No traces were found at the site, and no explanation was reached. The case remains unsolved.
