Zigzagging object with white trail over Saint-Vincent-de-Paul

Summary

Between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m. on 9 March 1997, a witness in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul (Landes) spotted a small pea-sized object zigzagging across the sky, leaving a white trail behind it. After a few moments of erratic movement, the object stabilised. Very little additional information is available, and GEIPAN documented the case without being able to determine the nature of the phenomenon.
