Summary

On the night of 24 March 1997, a driver near Fay-aux-Loges (Loiret) observed a phenomenon composed of several superimposed rows of lights spanning 200 to 300 metres. The formation moved slowly and silently at an estimated altitude of 2,000 metres, roughly 4 kilometres from the witness. The description was detailed and consistent, yet no conventional explanation was found. The complete absence of noise and the apparent size of the phenomenon ruled out the most common aerial objects.
