Ovoid object follows a vehicle for 45 minutes near Béziers

Summary

In June 1997, a driver and passenger near Béziers observed a flat egg-shaped object that followed their vehicle at roughly 50 metres for 45 minutes. The object emitted non-glaring white lights and made no sound. No additional witnesses were found. Decades later, GEIPAN reviewed the case and noted that the lack of direct testimonies and the reliance on a third party who did not witness the phenomenon limited the report's reliability. The review is part of an ongoing effort to improve the classification of UFO cases.
