Black object with occupants in Bélis, 1998

Summary

In April 1998, a woman outside her holiday home in the Landes was startled by a persistent shadow. Looking up, she saw a round black object only meters above the ground, advancing silently. According to her account, the object stopped in front of her and she could make out two young men inside a cabin, one behind the other, wearing plain white helmets without visors. The object then disappeared over the trees to the west. This sole testimony was reported to GEIPAN over fifteen years later, raising legitimate questions about the accuracy of the recollection. The lack of an exact date prevents any connection with other cases.
