Summary

In August 1998, at 1:30 AM, a witness in Honfleur (Calvados) saw the entire sky light up with multicolored flashes lasting just one or two seconds. His wife also witnessed it, but the case was not reported to GEIPAN until 2013, fifteen years later. The exact date of the event was lost over time, preventing any in-depth investigation. Although the description is reminiscent of a meteorite entering the atmosphere, the lack of temporal precision and additional testimonies makes confirmation impossible. Classified as C.
