Bright round object over Martigues in 1998

Summary

On September 27, 1998, a witness in Martigues (Bouches-du-Rhône) observed a bright, yellowish round object near a hill. The object moved very slowly for several minutes before suddenly vanishing at high speed. No conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon. GEIPAN classified it as D, an unresolved case.
