On March 16, 1999 at 8 PM, a witness in Millau (Aveyron) observed two aerial objects crossing the sky rapidly: a small orange ball and another engulfed in flames. Both followed a straight path, but one descended toward the valley before climbing again. The phenomenon was completely silent and lasted just seconds. Investigators ruled out atmospheric entry, and the proximity of military installations did not help identify the objects' origin. The case remains unexplained.
