Summary

In April 2001, the crew of a DC10 bound for Bordeaux observed a green light descending over three to four seconds at an estimated distance of more than ten kilometers. The trajectory suggested a possible atmospheric entry. The sighting was brief but clear enough to be logged by the crew. GEIPAN classified the case as B: a conventional explanation was not ruled out, though the precise nature of the object was never confirmed.
