Around 10:30 p.m. on July 4, 2001, several witnesses near Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade spotted an object roughly the size of a DC-10 flying at low altitude. It displayed a row of yellow lights and produced a dull rumbling noise. No further information about the incident is available.
