Oval object with sudden acceleration in Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune

Summary

At around 20:00 on 21 February 2002, a witness walking with his wife in Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune noticed an oval-shaped object at high altitude moving slowly. It then accelerated dramatically and vanished. His wife did not see it. The observation was very brief and no further details were obtained. GEIPAN classification C.
