On 16 March 2002, several pilots from different aircraft reported a green light crossing the sky at high speed and leaving a clear trail. No sounds or vibrations were associated with the object's passage, and the light did not show the typical break-up pattern of an ordinary meteorite. The convergence of multiple airborne testimonies lent strength to the observation. GEIPAN classified the case as B, pointing to a probable atmospheric entry, though the explanation was not fully confirmed.
