Brown cylindrical object photographed in Sisteron

Summary

In August 2002, a motorist in Sisteron spotted a brown cylindrical object moving silently from south to east in a straight line, leaving a short trail. He took a photograph on film but did not report the incident at the time. Only years later, upon finding the image, did he contact GEIPAN.

The lack of a precise date, the delay in reporting and the absence of other witnesses make analysis beyond the photograph difficult. No conventional explanation was found. The case remains classified as C.
