Rotating luminous formation over Saint-Jean-d'Hérans

Summary

On 8 November 2002, a couple in Saint-Jean-d'Hérans saw about a dozen luminous points arranged in an oval shape rotating clockwise in the sky. Roughly six additional points remained stationary in the centre of the oval. The phenomenon was completely silent. Investigators suggested it could have been the effect of an advertising laser seen from a great distance, though this hypothesis was not confirmed with certainty.
