Green light in vertical descent at Angles

Summary

Close to midnight on 7 April 2003, a witness in Angles, Vendée, saw a green light the apparent size of a large star falling vertically. It went out before reaching the ground. The description is consistent with the atmospheric entry of a meteorite or piece of space debris. No other witnesses or evidence emerged. GEIPAN classified the case as B, pointing to a conventional explanation.
