One night in August 2003, five people stargazing in Vouécourt were startled by the sudden appearance of two rows of three very bright white points overhead. The flash was powerful enough to light the surroundings as if it were daytime, all in complete silence. The points faded over roughly one second. Despite the clarity of the account shared by five witnesses, no other reports of the event were found, making analysis and classification difficult.
