On 10 May 2004, around 21:20, two independent witnesses in Bonneville and Annemasse spotted a bright yellow-orange ball crossing the sky at high speed. One described a horizontal trajectory while the other perceived it as vertical, yet both agreed on the object's rapid movement. GEIPAN classified the case as B, pointing to a likely natural explanation such as a meteoric atmospheric entry. Despite minor discrepancies in their accounts, there is little doubt both witnesses observed the same phenomenon.
