Silent object with green light over Lescar

Summary

In May 2004, a couple in Lescar witnessed a silent object travelling at high speed. The witness described a shape with a powerful beam of light at the rear and a green light at the front. The object slowed down, switched off the beam, and disappeared completely within minutes. An amateur astronomer later confirmed seeing something similar in the area. GEIPAN ultimately classified the case as an atmospheric phenomenon, accepting a conventional explanation despite the initially striking description.
