Summary

In October 2004, two witnesses in Casteljaloux observed a cylindrical object just 150 metres from their home. It measured roughly one metre thick and one and a half metres in circumference, emitting intense white and red lights. Without making any noise, it rose slowly from a nearby property and disappeared into the clouds, leaving no trace.

GEIPAN classified the case as C, finding no conventional explanation. Despite the close range and the clarity of the account, no physical evidence or additional testimonies were obtained.
