Crater with no object in Saint-Geniez

Summary

On 25 December 2004, a witness found a crater 15 cm in diameter and 25 cm deep in the parking area of their property in Saint-Geniez. Excavation down to 50 cm uncovered no object inside. Investigators considered a possible meteorite fall, but the complete absence of physical remains left the cause unconfirmed. GEIPAN classified the case as B, suggesting a conventional explanation despite the unanswered questions.
