Bright trail in eastern France identified as meteorite

Summary

In February 2005, two witnesses located in different departments of eastern France reported a bright green or white trail that appeared and vanished within seconds. Both accounts matched. The media shortly afterwards confirmed the fall of a small meteorite in the northeast region, supporting the atmospheric-entry hypothesis. GEIPAN classified the case as B.
