Dark boomerang shape over Avignon

Summary

In the early hours of 28 June 2005, a witness in Avignon observed for 8 to 10 seconds a dark boomerang-shaped object gliding slowly without emitting light or sound. Dense fog and a strong breeze appeared shortly afterwards, though their connection to the sighting is unclear. There were no other witnesses or records of the event. A conventional aerial object was considered, but the lack of information prevented any hypothesis from being confirmed.
