Summary

On a spring evening in 2007, two people in Biarritz noticed a large metallic shape hanging motionless in the foggy sky, roughly 500 meters away and at similar altitude. The object was surrounded by a halo of light and made no sound. The sighting was brief and no other witnesses came forward.

The report only reached GEIPAN in 2010, three years after the event, severely limiting any investigation. Although both witnesses clearly recalled the shape and luminosity, no photographs or additional data could be gathered.
