From his balcony in Nyons on June 19, 2007, a witness saw two very bright objects moving silently from north to south. The first was fast and brilliant; the second, larger, followed close behind. Both held a steady speed and vanished behind a hill on a descending trajectory. No other witnesses were found. GEIPAN classified the case as A after confirming that the International Space Station and a spacecraft that had just undocked from it passed over the area that day, accounting for the two sequential luminous points.
