Silent white rings over Merville aerodrome

Summary

Between 10:20 and 10:30 on 31 March 2008, several people at Merville aerodrome (Nord) watched a series of white rings gliding silently across the sky. A local witness provided the likely explanation: laser projectors frequently used by nearby restaurants and nightclubs for advertising. GEIPAN classified the case as B, attributing it to a conventional light show.
