🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On 19 April 2008, three people in Nancy watched three yellow-orange points of light drifting slowly and silently across the sky before vanishing suddenly. One witness tried to photograph the phenomenon, but the resulting image lacked quality and useful references. The sighting's characteristics match those of sky lanterns, though the absence of precise directional data prevented confirmation that the objects followed the recorded wind. GEIPAN classified the case as B: probable sky-lantern observation.
