Summary

On the evening of 29 April 2008, a driver and passenger spotted two bright lights at low altitude near Vallet (Loire-Atlantique). After dropping off his companion, the driver made a second sighting of a slowly moving, multi-coloured, silent object. Years later he filled in a detailed questionnaire. No other testimonies were collected. GEIPAN concluded the lights were probably aircraft on approach to Nantes airport with landing lights on. The case was classified C due to imprecise information about the exact time, location and direction of the observations.
