Three yellow lights over Calvados

Summary

In May 2008, two witnesses in Argences (Calvados) watched three yellow points of light drift slowly from west to north for about fifteen seconds before vanishing abruptly. No sound was heard. The colour, speed and behaviour match Thai sky lanterns released during family celebrations, a common occurrence in the region at the time. This is the most likely explanation.
