Triangular object with coloured lights in Moselle

Summary

On 11 May 2008, two witnesses saw a triangular-shaped object cross the Moselle sky at high speed. They described white, green and red lights, both steady and blinking, accompanied by a faint low-pitched hum. Although the appearance seemed unusual, the combination of lights and sound clearly points to a conventional aircraft whose lighting configuration, seen from an uncommon angle, created the impression of a strange object.
