Summary

On 21 May 2008, a witness in Gémenos saw a very bright white object cross the sky from south to northeast, tracing a curve and making no sound. The investigation confirmed it was the International Space Station (ISS), visible over the Aubagne area between 10:42 and 10:47 PM at a magnitude of roughly –4, particularly intense after the installation of new solar panels. Time, direction and brightness all match the testimony.
