Summary

At 4:30 AM on 8 May 2008, two observers in Oisly (Loir-et-Cher) saw a very bright white ball moving from west to east for about two minutes. Winstars data confirms the ISS rose at 4:27 and set at 4:37 in the region, at a magnitude of –4 thanks to its enlarged solar panels. Time, direction, duration and brightness all match perfectly. GEIPAN classified the case as A.
