Yellow and orange balls over Avignon

Summary

On 14 May 2008, three people in Avignon saw three luminous balls in yellow and orange tones drifting slowly from east to west, silently, for under a minute. Only one testimony was collected. The colour, shape, trajectory and easterly wind recorded that day led GEIPAN to conclude they were most likely Thai sky lanterns. Classified B.
