Summary

In May 2008, several passengers in a car in Châteaugiron saw two opaque white masses moving and changing shape in the sky, appearing and disappearing briefly. An additional testimony recorded in Cesson-Sévigné the following day described an identical phenomenon. GEIPAN concluded it was most likely a commercial Sky Rose-type searchlight whose beam, interacting with the cloud layer, produced the observed shapes.
