Two orange objects over Avignon on 10 May 2008

Summary

At around 11:30 PM on 10 May 2008, a witness in Avignon saw a flash in the clear sky followed, ten seconds later, by two round orange objects moving south-east. Only one brief testimony was filed. GEIPAN concluded they were Thai sky lanterns: the colour, shape, trajectory and wind direction recorded that day all support this explanation.
