Summary

At 00:04 on 28 May 2008, a witness in Bergerac (Dordogne) saw a luminous object cross the sky quickly in a straight north-westerly trajectory. GEIPAN investigators compared the testimony with ISS pass data over France and found a match in both time and direction. The object showed no anomalous behaviour. The case was classified B: the most likely explanation is an observation of the International Space Station. The recorded time is in GMT+2 (French summer time).
