Silent orange discs over Wahagnies

Summary

Around 23:45 on 8 July 2017, a witness and his wife saw two orange discs cross the clear sky without making any sound. The objects followed the same path from east to southwest. The witness took five photographs that were never submitted. Both the shape and colour matched Chinese sky lanterns, and the summer season favoured festivities involving such lights. GEIPAN classified the case as B, attributing it to sky lanterns.
