Summary

In 2008, a witness in Bollène photographed bright objects in the sky from their garden. Upon later reviewing similar cases, they recognised a clear resemblance to sky lanterns. GEIPAN classified the case as A, finding no unexplained elements. The images and testimony matched well-known patterns of this type of festive light.
