On 28 September 2008, a witness in Paris observed two red dots in the sky for about fifteen minutes. One moved slowly before accelerating and disappearing; the other remained still. Venus, visible to the naked eye with a reddish-orange hue at that time, was proposed as a hypothesis, along with the possibility of an unidentified aerial object. However, the testimony arrived several months after the event, preventing any verification. GEIPAN classified the case as C due to insufficient information.
