🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
Between 2008 and 2009, a witness in Bruges reported several sightings of silent luminous spheres, observed with the naked eye and through binoculars. The case includes photographs, though no gendarmerie report was filed. GEIPAN focused its analysis on the first observation of 21 September 2008, which could correspond to a pass of the International Space Station. The description of 'spheres' and a 'central core' was attributed to optical distortion caused by the observation instruments. The case was classified as B.
