Black triangle with red light at dawn in Palau-del-Vidre

Summary

In October 2008, two witnesses driving a utility vehicle saw something unusual at dawn near Palau-del-Vidre. They first spotted a very bright luminous point that did not appear to be Saturn, then observed a large black triangle with a central red light over the village they were crossing. Although its movement resembled that of an aircraft, they noted unusual details such as an anti-collision flasher. The object's description and behaviour did not match conventional aircraft. Because the report came in late, verification with aviation authorities was no longer possible. Nevertheless, the investigation confirmed the testimony's consistency. Nothing in conventional experience explains what they saw.
