Oval lights at dawn in Les Peintures

Summary

A witness in Les Peintures (Gironde) reported several oval luminous phenomena moving back and forth across the sky between 2:15 and 3:50 a.m. on 28 February 2009. The gendarmerie report reached GEIPAN very late, making it difficult to check whether there was air traffic in the area at that hour. The available information is too scarce to formulate any hypothesis.
