Triangular lights near Lognes aerodrome in Noisiel

Summary

On 13 March 2009, a witness in Noisiel saw three white-and-orange luminous points forming an equilateral triangle; one of them blinked and no sound was heard. The phenomenon quickly disappeared into the clouds. The report reached GEIPAN almost a year later, making radar-record checks impossible. Nevertheless, the description and trajectory suggest an aircraft on approach, as the sighting location coincides with the approach area of Lognes-Émerainville aerodrome.
