🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On 22 April 2009, an amateur astronomer in Chartrettes watched a stationary object in the sky for about fifteen seconds as it displayed intense colour changes — green, red, blue — with varying brightness. GEIPAN investigators considered it might be a momentary solar reflection off a satellite, such as an Iridium flash, or a reflection from a tumbling satellite. However, the time elapsed before the report and the lack of supporting data prevented verification. The case was classified C due to insufficient information.
