White objects and red shape in a Doubs air corridor

Summary

In April 2009, a witness in the Doubs region saw three white circular objects cross the sky at three-second intervals, followed by a red shape that resembled fire. The entire event lasted about twenty seconds, was silent, and appeared through a gap in the clouds. The testimony did not reach GEIPAN until 2010. Although the area is a busy military air corridor, the absence of noise and the red streak behind the objects remain unexplained. With no other witnesses or evidence, the case was classified C.
