In December 1952, several witnesses in Prince Rupert, Canada, reported an unidentified flying object. The event occurred at dawn on December 3rd, when a shiny, spherical object crossed the sky at high speed. Witnesses like Fred Ramsay and Nina Youngman described the object as a bright ball the size of an airplane, traveling at speeds far exceeding those of conventional aircraft. Some thought it might be a comet, others a weather balloon, but the observations did not match known phenomena. The Prince Rupert Ionosphere Station and Canada's Department of Transport collaborated to investigate, interviewing witnesses and collecting detailed information about the event. Although various explanations were considered, the object remained unidentified, adding another mystery to the history of UFO sightings in the region.
