A declassified British document details a UFO sighting in August 1989. According to the report, the UFO appeared as a very bright egg-shaped object, observed from outdoors at a distance estimated between half and three-quarters of a mile. The object was moving slowly to the south, descending toward the horizon. The witness, a former RAF member, saw it with the naked eye and noted that it had no normal lights except for an amber light in the cockpit. The sighting occurred under clear weather conditions, and no nearby objects were reported that could explain the observation. The report was sent to military authorities, but no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon.
The testimony stands out for its precision and the witness's insistence that the object did not resemble a conventional aircraft. Although no other witnesses were confirmed, the case was recorded and distributed to several RAF units for analysis. Despite investigations, no definitive conclusion was reached about the nature of the UFO.
