🇬🇧 Ministry of Defence
In 1993, the UK Ministry of Defence responded to multiple reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unexplained phenomena, such as crop circles. A notable case occurred in Middle Wallop, where a farmer reported strange depressions in a wheat field. The military conducted an investigation but found no clear explanation. The circles, perfectly aligned and without footprints, suggested a non-human cause. The Ministry of Defence, although receiving these reports, did not investigate them in depth unless they posed a national security threat.
Additionally, it was revealed that the Ministry did not have a department exclusively dedicated to studying UFOs. Most reports were archived without further analysis, and only cases that could not be explained by natural or artificial phenomena were considered. Despite this, the Ministry collaborated with civilian organizations and responded to specific inquiries. In 1993, several historical UFO files were mentioned that would become public in the future, generating interest among researchers.
